I'm FINALLY back!

Wow time literally flies past me these days... Last time I posted i was still pregnant, now I have a 5 month old! Unbelievable really!! Well I finally feel like I have my feet under me now, adjusting to two kids and being a full time mom vs. one kid and a full time working momma is two entirely separate worlds!  Who would have thought...?! Personally I would have thought that the full time mom was the easier route...  Some days not so much! Everyday is laundry, whining kids, messes, diapers, feedings, cleaning, over and over again... Ok that is the bad! I definitely feel very blessed and it is so rewarding to be able to be there for my kids and at the end of the day I wouldn't trade my time with my kids for anything else. Ok maybe a shower before 10:00am!  Thankfully I have two cute kids that are good natured & happy for the most part, not to mention a husband that puts up with me and who is so hard working!

Back to what I love doing! Since January I'm happy to say I've knocked a FEW things off my to do this!

Here is the Armoire that i finished for my son's room to match his changing table

I had my husband replace the backing with bead board to dress it up a bit, and i have since added cute brown baskets to hold more clothes.

Isn't this color great?! (Check back with me soon for paint colors.)

I have also finished my Christmas present to myself, which i couldn't be happier with! And I'm happy to say that my entry way is now organized (or as organized as it's going to get...)

Dresser Redo #1
I finally finished this bad boy to match my night stands in my room!  (Or i should say I'm 95% done with it.)  I still have to finish the door to cover the middle drawers. I was indecisive on what hardware i wanted on it and where, now I'm waiting until i have something else to paint in this color to finish it, almost there though.

Dresser Redo #2 - SOLD

I absolutely love a good solid dresser, but man dressers are so much work! I had fun with this one with all of the character and detail that it has!  I also discovered a great bronze paint that i painted some of the original gold hardware to match the new top & middle hardware!

I was half tempted at first to redo this one for myself.. But decided to go with the one that matched my nightstands.

P.S. I have lots more to come!  Stay tuned!
